Pressure

Listen here.

V For Vendetta is an awsome book and movie.

An ode to the wristwatch. . .

Lawerence from South Africa calls the SATURNcast!  I am very honored.

You too can call the SATURNcast at 206-338-2154

Andy Melton designs a fantastic new look for the SATURNdiary.

Brittany Spears reminds me of my time in rehab — which I recount for all of you today.  It was a very scary time in my life.

Please send the Bean and I some positive mo-jo.  We are very close to adopting two little girls.

I love all of you.  Christiaan Huygens has the best listeners on Earth.

I haven’t listened yet but see you talk about “V for Vendetta.” I love it! It’s such a great movie. It’s one of those movies where I didn’t even see the ending coming. I love movies like that. It also delivers a powerful message and it scares me to think that something similar could happen in our future. OK, going to start listening…

If you’re not going to accept my thank you for the wristwatch then who the hell’s are you going to accept? I think you don’t want to be thanked because if you were thanked you wouldn’t have anything to bitch about!

Rehab sounds like a place I absolutely, never want to go. I never, ever plan to drink any alcohol. I haven’t in 21 years and don’t plan to in the future. Everyone keeps asking me when I’m going to go out to a bar and get myself drunk. Not me. I don’t have plans to do that. A hangover the next morning doesn’t sound like a lot of fun to me.

You give the worst thank-you’s Andy Melton.

The only people who worry about hangovers are non-alcoholics.

Fear of a hangover never stopped me.

V for Vendetta is awsome. The graphic novel is even better.

  3. Andy Melton Says:

Well, THANK YOU for at least acknowledging that it WAS a THANK YOU!

Good luck on getting the little girls, too. I hope the interview goes well.

  4. Zilla Says:

What a strange and different but sucessfull recovery you have had!
    Sending the mojo for Wednesday……
You and the Bean will be kick ass parents!
hey…ya sure you do not want to adopt a cute 44 year old?
    I am almost potty trained!

  5. Tigger .:. Says:

    The funny thing about me……

I tried every I could to get high….but hated alcohol from the start.

I hate the feeling of being drunk….not for me. I think that I have a psychological aversion to alcohol. Coming from two alcoholic parents….I always blamed booze for all the problems that plagued my childhood. I vowed at a very early age that I would never drink. And I never did.

Now about the wristwatch….I made you some very lovely album art with 3 wristwatches in it. So…the line….”nobody has ever thanked me for the wristwatch” does not ring so true Mr. Christiaan.

I have a very good feeling about your adoption meeting.

  6. saturncast Says:

Zilla — they didn’t tell you? We adopted you last week. Social Services will pick you up at your house tomorrow for the trip to Saturn. Eat your vegetables Zilla, your new mother The Bean is a stickler for that.

Tigger — Thank you for the kind words here and on your show. I LOVE that album art. It is the official Saturncast logo. But that was not a thank you for the wristwatch. That was more of a homage to the wristwatch — which is not a thank you really.

  7. Eric Luper Says:

I am wearing black pants and a green sweater today. You might ask why and the answer is because I am also wearing my SaturnCast t-shirt, which just so happens to be black and green. This entire award-worthy ensemble is in honor of my thinking about you guys today.

Best of luck with this step of the process! You both so deserve it!

    Eric
