Listen to the Podcast here.
I start off today’s show with Bishop Fulton Sheen lecturing us on, of all things, sex.
I produce a very angry rant against the Catholic Church.
As a victim of clergy sexual abuse, I express outrage at the corruptness and greed of the church.
Bean gets attacked by a security officer at Sacre’ Coeur Basillica in Paris for taking a picture. Turns out the church forbids picture taking inside the church so they can sell the picture postcards in their gift shop.
Disgusting.
I applaud Madge Weinstein of Yeast Radio for mentioning the abuse crisis on her show.
Bean and I are amazed at our visit to the Palace of Versaille in France. Simply breathtaking.
We go on a private tour of Louis XVI’s private apartments. I question some of the assertions given by our French tour guide. (Which means a history lesson to you)
I applaud Rebecca Nay of Tranny Wreck Radio for her recent surgery.
I urge everyone to listen to Marti Abernathy’s Fat Tranny Circus
I thank the PizzaBabe for all her support.
Listen to the Gay Expat.

Fight at the Church Dance by Legends on Heroin
Hypocrites Code by Big Softy

This story really pisses me off. It appears that Cardinal Edward Egan, head of the Archdiocese of New York is turning 75 soon. So what, you ask? Well, 75 is the age in which Bishops and Cardinals in the Roman Catholic Church, under their Canon Law, have to turn in their resignation letters to the Pope. This is usually a pro-forma excercise. The Pope almost always turns it down.
But Cardinal Egan is nervous about it. Why? Could it be because of the horrific clergy sex abuse scandal that has haunted the Catholic Church? Could it be that he is worried about the terrible abuses that occured in the Archdiocese of New York, and before that, the Diocese of Bridgeport Connecticutt? Could it be he is worried that years of cover-up will finally catch up with him and that the Pope will accept his resignation?
Nope.
Some anonymous priests wrote a letter that was posted on a blog that Cardinal Egan didn’t do enough to help those poor priests accused of abuse and that the priests of the Archdiocese of New York should call for a vote of no confidence against Cardinal Egan.
What! Lose his job! Not protecting pedophile and abusive priests! Blashpemy!
We have never seen Cardinal Egan move so fast and speak out so passionately.
Where was Cardinal Egan when survivors of clergy abuse — survivors who used their real names in public by the way — asked for his help?
Silence and inaction.
What happens when anonymous priests speak up in a blog that they aren’t being “protected” during the clergy abuse scandal and that they want to fire Cardinal Egan?
Pardon the pun, but all hell breaks lose over at the Cardinal’s residence.
Priorities, people, priorities. . .
It is what makes the world go round.
